Mrs. Oberthier is a 1990 graduate of Hallsville High School.  She received her B.S.E. in secondary education from East Texas Baptist University.  Mrs. Oberthier is married, and she and her husband have two daughters.  She has resided in the Hallsville area since 1978. She currently teaches 8th grade language arts and is the H.J.H.S. cheerleader sponsor.
